Romanian Research Convention and Inventions and Innovations Show - Inventika 2014

Technical University of Cluj-Napoca participated during October 15-18th  2014 at Romanian Research Convention and at Inventions and Innovations Show – INVENTIKA, organized by National Education Ministry (MEN) – research department, in cooperation with S.C. Romexpo S.A., under umbrella of Bucharest International Technical Fair – TIB – 2014, fair which in this year celebrate the 40th edition. Over 198 companies choose to promote themselves by participating at fairs and exhibitions.
Organizing these kind of events simultaneously bring together researchers and inventors face to face with industry, represented by the major companies producing and trading Romanian and foreign, achieving thus the ideal environment to promote Romanian technical intelligence in international competition.
At the Romanian Research Convention - 2014 were presented the latest results of scientific research, obtained in the last three years as well as major projects in which the research institutions are currently involved or have been involved in the past three years.
In this edition of the Research Salon, 31 national institutes of research and development have participated with posters and exhibits, 4 companies and organizations involved in research and technology transfer and 7 universities, of which 4 with technical profile.
The 10 posters presented in English language by the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca included flagship projects of major research areas of the university, as follows:

This year the Inventions and Innovations Show INVENTIKA - 2014 was represented by inventors from four countries: Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Moldova and Romania.
53 organizations that have signed up to INVENTIKA-2014, brought in front of the public and of the jury 123 of inventions. The judging process was made by an experts panel who awarded the medals to the winners.

During the Fair, there were a series of conferences, workshops, roundtables and presentations under the umbrella of INNOVATION FORUM, in order to provide the proper environment for inventors to present their inventions, to get useful contacts and to conclude partnerships.

Technical University of Cluj-Napoca presented, in English language, 10 inventions, which were selected from the 109 registered at OSIM in the last five years, inventions for which the jury decided the following prizes:
