Enterprise Europe Network - Transylvania Regional Office
The Technical University of Cluj-Napoca represents the Enterprise Europe Network in Transylvania offering its free services to the business and R&D environment.
The Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) helps businesses innovate and grow on an international scale. The Network is active in more than 60 countries worldwide since 2008. It brings together 3,000 experts from more than 600 member organisations – all renowned for their excellence in business support.
The services provided by the EEN Network include:
1. International partnerships
The Network experts support organisations to find the right international partners to grow and expand abroad. The Network has the reach and expertise to find the right partner(s) to:
- manufacture or distribute products;
- access new markets;
- find the technology needed to drive innovation;
- cooperate in research and development projects.
The Network manages Europe's largest online database of business opportunities. It contains thousands of business, technology and research cooperation requests and offers from companies and research and development institutions. The database is accessible for free. Also, anyone can subscribe to receive personalised email alerts on new requests, offers and events.
The Network sets up fast and effective business matchmaking events at international conferences and trade fairs. It also organises international trade missions which lead to many successful partnerships thanks to thorough preparation and local knowledge. 2. Advice for international growth
The Network experts provide business advice it needs to grow and expand into international markets, advisory services on how to: export products or services to new markets, get CE marking for products, find the best way to finance plans for growth, protect intellectual property assets in another country.

3. Support for business innovation
The Network helps businesses bring innovative ideas to commercial success on international markets. Innovation support services are open to all kinds of businesses. The services are specifically designed to support potentially innovative businesses that are struggling with innovation management. These services help businesses plan and manage their innovation activities and align their innovation strategy with other business processes. The Network also provides key account management services to businesses benefitting from the Horizon 2020 SME Instrument.
